Fal's $1.3 billion raise doubles its valuation to $16 billion
The Series F, led by Bessemer Venture Partners with NVIDIA participating, comes as demand for Fal's inference capacity outpaces supply.
The answer
AI inference startup Fal raised $1.3 billion at a $16 billion valuation.
Fal has raised $1.3 billion in a Series F round that doubles its valuation to $16 billion. The money gives the inference provider a large new pool of capital at a time when demand for its services has outpaced its capacity. Fal sells inference infrastructure for generative image, video and audio models.
Bessemer Venture Partners led the round. NVIDIA, Sound Ventures, HOF Capital and T. Rowe Price also took part, according to a release dated 3 November 2026.
The new valuation is double the $8 billion set in April 2026, when Sequoia Capital led a $350 million Series E. Fal's valuation has therefore risen by $8 billion in seven months.
Annualised revenue reached $800 million earlier this year, according to sources familiar with the matter. At a $16 billion valuation, the company would be worth about 20 times that revenue figure.
The figures were checked only through a KuCoin News relay of the report, because the original Bloomberg article was not accessible. A secondary summary of the Bloomberg report says Talia Goldberg of Bessemer will join Fal's board. This has not been confirmed. No statements from Fal's leadership were verified for this report.
The Insider view
Fal's existing investors are the clearest winners. The valuation doubled in seven months, and NVIDIA's participation puts the chipmaker on the cap table of a provider whose demand has outstripped its capacity. Rivals selling inference capacity now face a competitor with $1.3 billion of fresh capital.
The test is what the money buys. Capacity is the constraint the reporting identifies, so the next signal is whether Fal expands its infrastructure quickly. Investors should also watch whether the $800 million revenue figure is confirmed by the company, since the valuation multiple rests on it.
